At Carminna, customer satisfaction is our priority. We have created a transparent returns and exchanges policy in full compliance with the UK Consumer Rights Act and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. 1. Return Policy
1.1 Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period) In accordance with UK and EU consumer laws, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your product, without providing a reason.
Conditions for return:
- The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by all manuals, accessories, and proof of purchase (invoice/receipt).
- Returns must be shipped to the address provided by our support team.
- Under this statutory right, the cost of the return shipping will be covered by Carminna.
- Important: Products that do not meet the above conditions or show signs of wear beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods may be rejected or subject to a reduction in refund value.
1.2 Refund Process Once your returned item is received and inspected, the refund will be processed using the original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Card: The refund may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Other Payment Methods (PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.): The refund will be processed within 10 business days after the return is approved.
2. Exchange Policy
2.1 Faulty or Damaged Goods Carminna complies with statutory warranties for manufacturing defects. If a product is faulty, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
Procedure for faulty items:
- Contact our Customer Service team immediately upon discovering the fault.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging (where possible) with a detailed description of the identified issue.
- Technical analysis will be completed within 15 business days of receipt.
If the fault is confirmed: You may choose one of the following options:
- Receive a brand-new replacement of the same product at no additional cost.
- Exchange for a different item available on the site (paying the difference in price if applicable).
- Receive a full refund of the amount paid.
If the fault is NOT confirmed (Rejected Claims): The product will be returned to the customer with an explanatory report. Common reasons for rejection include:
- No fault found.
- Misuse or accidental damage caused by the customer.
- Normal wear and tear or improper care (e.g., incorrect washing).
2.2 Exchanges for Size or Color Please note that we do not offer free exchanges for incorrect choices of size or color. Detailed measurements and descriptions are provided on our website to help you make the best choice. While you may still return these items under your 14-day Right of Withdrawal, the customer is responsible for ensuring the correct size is selected at the time of purchase.
3. Order Cancellation by Carminna
Carminna reserves the right to automatically cancel an order in specific situations, such as:
- Payment failure or refusal by the credit card issuer.
- Inconsistent or invalid registration data.
- Product out of stock.
3.1 Refunds for Staff-Initiated Cancellations If Carminna cancels an order, a 100% refund will be issued via the original payment method. This applies to:
- Delivery impossibility due to an incorrect address provided by the buyer (if the item is returned to us).
- Stock unavailability, in which case we will offer the choice of a substitute product or a full refund.
